Even when it's over, it's still ours?
Some cowards try to kill it.
With guilt they try to fill it.
With weakness they annull it.
With consequences they stiffle it.
Some do not understand it.
They shut your ears.
And break your fingers.
They close your windows.
And lock you up in cellars.
Some pessimists do not get it.
They extinguish all your fires
Even before you could light them.
They make your demons bigger
Even before you could fight them.
Commoners don't get it.
They make it seem foolish.
And want you as dead
As they have become.
These are things they will never know.
These are things you will never let go
Once you have chosen them to be yours.
They will never get it.
And claim that you are wrong.
You will be hit again and again.
So that you become strong.
In order for that day to come,
When it doesn't matter what they are saying.
Because you would have found your God,
And they were the ones who were praying!
