W.A.L.K.

One by one
 I tick off
 On my list
 What I want?
 What I got.
 What I lost.
 It all boils down
To a race against the clock.
And then I realize I don’t want to run.
And miss the beauty by the wayside.
I want to walk, I want to walk.
Let the clock go tick tock tick tick tock.
I know I will be slow.
 But what’s the hurry?
We will all meet at one gate.
You might arrive first without having seen,
Or mulling over the possibility of what it could have been?
I will arrive too, obviously much late.
After seeing everything, that was worth the entire wait.
